How to measure for a surface mounted security door.

Measure the width of the existing wood door.
- This is the actual width of the door you will order.
Measure the height of the existing wood door.
- This is the actual height of the door you will order.
Measure the flat molding on either side of and above the door.
- This is what the surface mounted door frame will be mounted to.
- You will want to have at least 1.25" width of flat molding.
  - If you do not have this you may have to shim your molding to achieve this flat surface.
