*"Bump-Proof" is a term used to refer to locks that have been engineered to resist "Bumping".

Mechanical Lock Dialing Instructions

Step1 Turn LEFT* Stopping when the first number comes to the mark the 4th time.
Step2 Turn RIGHT stopping when the second number comes to the mark the 3rd time.
Step3 Turn LEFT stopping when the third number comes to the mark the 2nd time.
Step4 Turn RIGHT past “0” until the dial stops

      Combination Lock Dialing Instructions

For Modern 3 Wheel Locks made by Sargent & Greenleaf, LaGard and Kaba-Ilco

Important: Dialing your numbers must be accurate. Going past the number and then backing up will prevent the lock from opening.

1: Turn the dial 4 times to the left (counter-clockwise) stopping when the 1st number appears at the opening mark for the 4th time.

Step 2: Turn the dial 3 times to the right (clockwise) stopping when the 2nd number appears at the opening mark for the 3rd time.

Step 3: Turn the dial 2 times to the left (counter-clockwise) stopping when the 3rd number appears at the opening mark for the 2nd time.

Step 4: Gently turn the dial to right (clockwise) until dial comes to a dead stop (approximately at 95). If dial turns more than one revolution, an error has been made and you will need to start again.

IMPORTANT

If the above instructions do not open the lock after 5 attempts you should contact our service department immediately to schedule an appointment as it is possible your lock is malfunctioning or is in need of cleaning. Our Certified Master Safecrackers can open most safes without drilling, provided we are contacted before the problem worsens.

Electronic Lock Operating Instruction

Below are instructions for 4 of the most popular electronic locks on the  US market. If your lock is not listed here or you require a more in depth tutorial, please contact our service department to schedule an appointment with a Certified Safe Engineer.

LaGard:  Make sure your safe handle is in the fully locked position
and enter  your 6 digit code. If the light on your keypad is flashing the lock
may be in “penalty mode” caused by multiple incorrect combination
attempts. Wait 20 minutes for the lock to reset it’s internal timer and try the code again.

Sargent & Greenleaf:  Make sure your safe handle is in the fully locked position and enter your 6 digit code followed by “#”. If after entering your combination and the lock fails to open or produce any sound it may be in “penalty mode” caused by multiple incorrect combination attempts. Wait 20 minutes for the lock to reset it’s internal timer and try the code again.

Kaba-Mas: Make sure your safe handle is in the fully locked position and enter your 6 digit code. If the light on your keypad is flashing the lock may be in “penalty mode” caused by multiple incorrect combination attempts. Wait 20 minutes for the lock to reset it’s internal timer and try the code again.

American Security Products: Make sure your safe handle is in the fully locked position and enter "C" then your 6 digit combination followed by "#".  If the light on your keypad is flashing the lock may be in “penalty mode” caused by multiple incorrect combination attempts. Wait 20 minutes for the lock to reset it’s internal timer and try the code again.

IMPORTANT

If the above instructions do not open the lock after multiple attempts you should contact our service department immediately to schedule an appointment as it is possible your lock is malfunctioning or there is a more serious problem with the mechanism of your safe. Our Certified Master Safecrackers can open most safes without drilling, provided we are contacted before the problem worsens.
