bars provide an inexpensive deterrent to would be thieves. Bars can either be
affixed and non-open able or they can be equipped with emergency safety

For good security of windows use window locks or install window bars.
Whereas you can't absolutely prevent a burglary, you sure can make it harder for burglars to enter your home with window locks or window bars. One estimate of property crime says that 6 out of every 10 burglaries begin with entry through a window at the back of the house. Many
burglars are opportunists who simply ease wider an already open window. Other
times they break the glass and reach in to release the window locks. You can prevent such forced entry by installing window bars on all downstairs windows and upstairs windows that are accessible from a flat roof, drainpipe or other easy access point.
Alarms are also helpful in that they
announce the break-in to your neighbors and if monitored they can summon
the police as well.
If window bars are not something you want on your home, security window locks that secure the window to the frame by a simple bolt or clasp operation will
help.
Security window locks are relatively inexpensive, simple to fit, very easy to operate and are available for a wide range of different window applications such as wooden casement, metal windows, or sash windows.

Fire Safety
Recently, non-opening
window bars caused a series of preventable deaths. The State of
California enacted legislation that empowered California cities with
the ability to write ordinances which require property owners bring
their window bars up to current building code standards. Cities may
also fine property owners who fail to bring their window bars up to
standards. Most cities mandate that in every bedroom or room used as a
sleeping room, at least one window bar be equipped with an emergency
release device. Because every city is different, contact your local
fire prevention office and building and planning department for
information on permit and installation requirements in your area.
The factory has black as the standard color, but
white is also available. We can also have them re-powder coated locally to
